The Eureka Fire, currently ravaging Joshua Tree National Park, remains steady at 214 acres with containment at 80% as of 6:00 pm on June 3, 2025. Firefighters and crews are set to continue their suppression efforts throughout the week in an attempt to fully contain the fire.
The National Park Service has assigned additional equipment to tackle the fire on June 3. The resources include four fire engines and one hand crew. These reinforcements are expected to aid in the ongoing fire containment efforts.
