The National Park Service (NPS) has announced a unique volunteering opportunity at the Adams National Historical Park. The park is actively seeking a Community Volunteer Ambassador (CVA) to assist with the upcoming 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the park’s operations and public engagement efforts during this significant milestone.
The CVA will be involved in a variety of tasks including recruiting, training, and managing volunteers, planning and executing special events, and fostering a strong relationship between the park and the local community. This role is designed to provide a meaningful experience for the CVA, offering them the chance to develop leadership skills and gain a deep understanding of the NPS and its mission.
This opportunity is open to all interested candidates and is a part of the NPS’s broader initiative to engage the community in the preservation and celebration of the country’s rich history. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply via the NPS website.
