The National Park Service (NPS) has announced the closure of Abrams Falls Trail and its trailhead parking lot in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The closure will occur from June 16 through June 18 to facilitate necessary trail maintenance.
During this three-day period, visitors will not be able to access the Abrams Falls from any trail. The NPS has not provided any alternative routes for visitors wishing to view the falls during the maintenance period.
The maintenance work is part of the NPS’s ongoing commitment to ensure the safety and accessibility of all trails within the park. Visitors are encouraged to check the NPS website for updates and information on other trails they can explore during this period.
