Glacier National Park has issued a reminder to visitors that from July 1, private vehicle entrance to Many Glacier will be restricted. Only those with wilderness camping permits, commercial service reservations, or lodging reservations will be permitted to use their own vehicles for entry. All other visitors will be required to use the temporary Many Glacier Day Hiker Shuttle.
Tickets for the Many Glacier Day Hiker Shuttle are now available for purchase seven days in advance each morning at 8 a.m. This service aims to provide an efficient alternative for visitors and reduce congestion within the park. The shuttle is part of the park’s commitment to preserving the environment and ensuring a pleasant visit for everyone.
In addition to the morning sales, starting from June 30, tickets will also be available for purchase at 7 p.m. the night before entry. This additional booking time is aimed at offering more flexibility to visitors planning their trips to the park. For more information, visitors can access the full article on the National Park Service’s website.
