A 67-year-old man from New York tragically lost his life while swimming in the Atlantic Ocean near Frisco, North Carolina. The incident took place on Hatteras Island, a popular beach destination for tourists and locals alike.
Despite immediate resuscitation attempts on the beach, the man was unable to be revived. The incident occurred near Cape Hatteras National Seashore’s Ramp 49, a well-known landmark in the area.
