The National Park Service (NPS) has announced that the Old Fall River Road will remain closed for spring opening operations. The road will be completely inaccessible to all users, including pedestrians, dog walkers, and cyclists, on Tuesday, July 1, from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The closure will extend from 6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, through to Thursday, July 3, for dust abatement purposes. This means that during these times, no one will be allowed to use the road for any reason.
However, the NPS has also confirmed that the road will reopen to vehicles for the season on Friday, July 4. This will allow visitors to once again enjoy the scenic route and the park’s many attractions.
