Grand Canyon National Park’s South Rim has eased its water restrictions to Stage 2 with immediate effect, due to increased water levels in the reservoir tanks. The decision to lift the water restrictions comes as a result of the improved water situation, which has allowed for more operational changes within the park.
Among the changes, Camper Services, managed by Delaware North, will be reopening to the public. This is a significant step towards normal operations, providing campers with much needed services that had been unavailable due to the previous water restrictions.
In addition, water spigots in Mather Campground and Desert View Campground will be turned on. This move will ensure that campers have access to water facilities, enhancing their camping experience.
