January 7, 2026by Ranger Tom0

The National Park Service (NPS) has selected City Sightseeing Washington DC, Inc., also known as Big Bus Tours, to provide interpretive transportation services at the National Mall and Memorial Parks for the next decade. This comes as part of NPS’s ongoing commitment to enhancing visitor experiences across national parks and memorials.

Under this new contract, Big Bus Tours will be responsible for providing visitors with guided tours around the National Mall and Memorial Parks. These tours will not only transport visitors from one point to another but also offer educational insights about the historical significance and natural beauty of these sites.

The NPS’s decision to engage Big Bus Tours for the next ten years underscores the organization’s confidence in the company’s ability to deliver high-quality, informative tours. This partnership aims to enrich visitor experiences, making each visit to the National Mall and Memorial Parks not just a trip, but a memorable journey into America’s history and heritage.
