Lincoln Home National Historic Site Hosts Lincoln Birthday Bash

The Lincoln Home National Historic Site has announced plans to host a free, all-day public celebration marking the 217th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birth. The event, which is open to the public, will be held at the Lincoln Home National Historic Site Visitor Center located at 426 S. 7th Street. This celebration is set to take place on three separate dates: Thursday, February 12; Saturday, February 14; and Sunday, February 15.

The Lincoln Birthday Bash aims to honor and commemorate one of America’s most respected and admired presidents. The event is organized by the National Park Service, the government agency responsible for maintaining historical sites and monuments throughout the country.
