Rocky Mountain National Park to Host a Variety of Ranger-led Winter Programs in 2026

January 22, 2026by Ranger Tom0

Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) has announced a series of ranger-led winter programs for 2026. The picturesque park, located in the southern Rocky Mountains, is popular during the winter months for its less crowded and enchanting scenic beauty. The programs will be held, weather and snow conditions permitting, and will include a variety of walks, talks, and activities.

The winter ranger-led programs are planned to be available on both the east and west sides of the park. These programs offer visitors an opportunity to explore the park’s winter landscape under the guidance of experienced rangers. The activities are designed to educate and engage visitors, offering a unique perspective on the park’s natural beauty and wildlife during the winter season.

The ranger-led winter programs will continue through mid-March 2026. Visitors are encouraged to check the RMNP website for updates on the schedule and conditions. As winter in the Rockies can be unpredictable, the park advises visitors to come prepared for a range of weather conditions.
