Dome Fire Update, September 28, 2026 (morning)
The Dome Fire grew by 406 acres between Sunday morning and Monday morning, according to a September 28 update from Yosemite National Park.
The wildfire remains 30% contained, though officials said containment is increasing as crews continue their suppression efforts.
Most of the fire’s recent growth has occurred along its northern and northeastern edges. That expansion has continued at a moderated pace.
