The National Park Service Southeast Utah Group has recently announced the selection of Chrissy Noel Kinslow as the 2026 Community Artist in the Parks. This prestigious position allows Kinslow to share her artistic perspective of the natural beauty found within the national parks of Southeast Utah.

Kinslow, a talented artist with a deep appreciation for the outdoors, will spend the year creating art inspired by the unique landscapes of the region. She will also engage with park visitors, sharing her creative process and fostering a deeper connection between the public and the parks.

The Community Artist in the Parks program is an annual initiative by the National Park Service to promote the cultural significance and natural beauty of the country’s national parks. The selected artist gets an opportunity to live and work within the parks, creating a body of work that reflects the distinct characteristics of the region. The program aims to inspire a greater appreciation and understanding of the national parks among visitors.
