Glacier National Park Announces 2026 Summer Operations

February 19, 2026by Ranger Tom0

Glacier National Park has announced plans for its summer 2026 operations. The park will launch a pilot ticketed shuttle system to Logan Pass, including early morning express routes. This new service is set to commence on July 1, depending on weather conditions.

In another significant change, private vehicle parking at Logan Pass will be limited to three hours. This restriction is a move to manage the flow of traffic and minimize congestion during the peak summer season. However, visitors should note that vehicle reservations will not be required anywhere in the park for the duration of 2026.

These new operational changes are part of Glacier National Park’s ongoing efforts to enhance visitor experience while ensuring the preservation of the park’s natural resources. Further information on the park’s summer operations can be found on their official website.
