Shiloh National Military Park Offers Veterans Day Tour

Shiloh National Military Park will hold a free, 4-hour guided bus tour on Wednesday, Nov. 11, for veterans, active-duty service members and their spouses in recognition of Veterans Day 2026.

What this means for your visit

The tour is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. Participation is limited to veterans, active-duty service members and their spouses.

Advance registration is required because seating is limited. Eligible visitors can reserve a seat by calling Shiloh National Military Park at 731-689-5696.

Participants should bring water and snacks for the 4-hour program. They also should check the weather and choose suitable clothing before arriving.

Background

The park is offering the tour to recognize the connection between the American military and the National Park Service. Acting Superintendent Randy Martin said the program gives members of the military community an opportunity to connect with the history they serve to protect.

The release identifies the program as a guided bus tour but does not provide a meeting location, check-in instructions or details about the route. Registrants can ask park staff for those details when reserving their seats.
