My Trips Plan a trip

For local businesses

Be the place park visitors find first

People plan their national park trips here and find their way around in our park guide apps. A listing puts your business in both — where they decide where to eat, sleep, rent and book.

What a listing gets you

One listing, kept in one place, shown everywhere a visitor to your park is looking.

  • A pin in the park’s guide app

On the map, in search and in the trip planner, with your photos, hours, menu and a button that calls, books or opens your website.

  • Your own page on National Park Getaways

A full page under the park — photos, description, directions, what is nearby in the park — built for search, so it can be found on Google as well as here.

  • On the park’s own guide page

Listed businesses appear in the Local businesses section of the park’s guide and its directory — and, where we have one, on our regional guide for the area.

  • Visits you can see

Every link to your website is tagged, so the visitors we send show up by name in your own Google Analytics.

How it works

  1. Create your account

Name, email and a password. Two minutes, no phone call.

  2. Add your business

Pick your park and category, drop your pin, and add photos, a description and the button you want people to press.

  3. Go live

Your listing appears in the park’s app, and on this site within the hour after that. Change it whenever you like from the same dashboard.

Questions owners ask

Is there a contract?

No. Pay monthly or for the year, and cancel from your dashboard. If a listing lapses its page is kept, so paying again brings it back at the same address.

Do I have to write it myself?

You fill in a short form; the page is laid out for you. If you would rather we set it up, email us your website and a few photos.

Is it marked as advertising?

Yes — listed businesses carry a small Partner tag. Visitors trust a guide that is open about who pays, and so do search engines.

Can I do more than a listing?

Yes: featured placement at the top of your category, and push notifications to everyone with the park’s app. Ask us.
