Seneca Falls, New York, will host a unique homeschool field trip day on October 1, 2025. This event is a collaborative effort between the Women’s Rights National Historical Park, the Seneca Falls Historical Society, and the National Women’s Hall of Fame. The objective of the event is to provide a series of educational programs specifically designed for homeschool students.

These programs will offer an immersive experience into the history and culture of Seneca Falls, an area recognized for its significant contribution to women’s rights. The Women’s Rights National Historical Park, a key participant in this event, is a landmark that commemorates the first Women’s Rights Convention held in 1848.

The Seneca Falls Historical Society and the National Women’s Hall of Fame will also contribute to the educational experience. The Historical Society, known for its extensive collection of local artifacts and documents, will provide historical context. Meanwhile, the National Women’s Hall of Fame, which honors women who have made significant contributions to society, will offer insights into the lives of these influential figures.

The homeschool day event aims to provide an enriching educational experience for homeschool students. It offers an opportunity to learn about the rich history of Seneca Falls and its role in the women’s rights movement, while also promoting a deeper understanding of the contributions of notable women in history.
