Great Basin National Park opens applications for 2027 Artist-in-Residence program

Great Basin National Park, in partnership with the Great Basin National Park Foundation, is accepting applications for its 2027 Artist-in-Residence program.

For nearly two decades, the program has welcomed painters, writers, musicians and other creatives to immerse themselves in the park’s remote and inspiring landscape. Participants draw on the area’s natural beauty, solitude and cultural resources to develop new work.

The residency continues the park’s effort to connect visitors with Great Basin through the arts while giving selected artists an opportunity to work in one of the country’s most distinctive national parks.
