Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail Closed to Visitors Sept. 24 for Mowing

Great Smoky Mountains National Park will temporarily close Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail to visitors on Sept. 24 for roadside mowing and other maintenance work.

The closure will run from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., allowing crews to complete the work safely. Visitors should plan alternate routes and activities during those hours.

The scenic trail is expected to reopen after maintenance is completed.
