Vicksburg National Military Park Invites Public Feedback on Plans to Redesign Park Entrance

Vicksburg National Military Park is seeking public input on plans to redesign its main entrance at Clay Street and Old Highway 27.

The proposed changes are intended to improve visitor safety, traffic flow and access to the park while protecting the site’s historic monuments. The project would address transportation concerns at one of the park’s key entry points.

Members of the public may submit comments on the plans from October 5 through November 5, 2026.
