2025 Winter Hours and Holiday Events

Steamtown National Historic Site is set to celebrate the 2025 holiday season with a range of festive activities, including train rides, family events, and community gatherings. The park’s winter hours will be Wednesday through Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

One of the main attractions of the holiday season, the holiday train rides, will be operating behind a historic diesel engine. This comes as the usual locomotive, No. 26, is currently unavailable due to ongoing repairs.

For more detailed information on the winter hours and holiday events, visitors can check the official website of the National Park Service. Despite the change in locomotive, Steamtown National Historic Site promises a festive and fun-filled holiday season for all its visitors.
