United States Mint to Release Special 250th Anniversary Gettysburg Address Quarter on October 21

The United States Mint will release a special Gettysburg Address Quarter on Oct. 21, 2026, as part of the nation’s 250th anniversary commemoration.

Gettysburg National Military Park, the Mint and the Gettysburg Foundation will mark the launch with a public ceremony at 11 a.m. at the Gettysburg Museum and Visitor Center.

The commemorative quarter honors President Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address and its enduring significance in American history. The event will connect the new coin’s release with the battlefield where Lincoln delivered the landmark speech in 1863.
