Assateague Island National Seashore to Begin $2.5 Million Water Line Project to Improve Visitor Experience

Assateague Island National Seashore will begin a $2.5 million water line replacement project in mid-October, upgrading essential infrastructure in developed areas of the park’s Maryland Unit.

The project is designed to improve water pressure and reliability for visitors and park operations. Park officials said the new system will better meet current demand while supporting future facility improvements.
