Great Sand Dunes Seeks Proposals for a Vendor to Operate the Pinion Flat Campground Store in the Park
The National Park Service (NPS) is currently seeking a vendor to operate the Pinon Flats Campground store within the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. The successful vendor will provide sales of vended beverages, firewood, and ice to visitors of the park. The NPS aims to enhance the visitor experience by providing these essential services.
The selected vendor will operate under a Commercial Use Authorization, a contractual agreement that allows private businesses to provide specific visitor services within a national park. This gives the vendor permission to conduct their business within the park, ensuring they follow the park’s regulations and standards.
The agreement period for the vendor will cover the 2026 and 2027 seasons. This opportunity provides a unique chance for businesses to work closely with the NPS, contributing to the upkeep and enhancement of the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. The NPS encourages all interested and eligible parties to apply.
