National Park Service Completes Environmental Review for Future Improvements at Glen Echo Park

The National Park Service has completed its environmental review of proposed updates to the Glen Echo Park Management Plan, clearing an important step toward future improvements at the historic Maryland park.

The review examined changes intended to guide the park’s long-term planning, design and management. These updates will provide a framework for future decisions about Glen Echo Park while considering potential environmental effects.

The agency issued a Finding of No Significant Impact, concluding that the proposed plan amendment would not cause significant environmental harm. The finding formally completes the environmental review process.
