Portions of Gulf Islands National Seashore Reopen after Hurricane Isaias
Gulf Islands National Seashore announced that portions of its Florida District will reopen to visitors on Oct. 18 following closures associated with Hurricane Isaias.
The reopening restores public access to selected areas of the national seashore after park officials assessed storm impacts and safety conditions. Visitors should be prepared for possible restrictions or closures in areas where cleanup or repairs remain underway.
Park officials encourage visitors to check current conditions before traveling and to follow posted signs and safety guidance while recovery work continues.
