Mammoth Cave National Park is hosting an Astrophotography Workshop for both aspiring and experienced astrophotographers on Friday, September 19. The event is set to kick off with a night sky evening program at 6:30 p.m. CDT in the park’s outdoor amphitheater.

Following the evening program, participants will relocate to the bus loop behind the visitor center at 7:30 p.m. This location will serve as the setting for the astrophotography session, where attendees will have the opportunity to set up and use their equipment under the guidance of experienced professionals.

This workshop offers a unique opportunity for those interested in astrophotography to learn and practice their skills in the serene setting of Mammoth Cave National Park. More details about the event can be found on the National Park Service’s website.
