Federal Hall National Memorial

Federal Hall National Memorial in Lower Manhattan has announced modifications to its operations, according to an update from the National Park Service. Visitors should review the latest information before traveling, as access, hours or available services may be affected.

The historic site at 26 Wall Street marks the location where George Washington took the oath of office as the nation’s first president. It also commemorates the building’s earlier role as the seat of the first U.S. Congress and remains a prominent landmark in New York City’s Financial District.

The National Park Service advises visitors to consult the official Federal Hall website for current operating details, closures and other planning information.
