Denali Park Road and Campgrounds Reopen

Denali National Park and Preserve officials have decided to reopen all areas of the park that were affected by the closures on August 29, 2025. This decision comes after a thorough evaluation of the conditions in the park. The areas that were closed include the park’s road and campgrounds.

The reopening of the park’s facilities will allow visitors to once again enjoy the unique experiences that Denali has to offer. Visitors will have access to the park’s road and campgrounds, providing opportunities for outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and wildlife viewing.

The National Park Service is committed to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all park visitors. As such, they continually monitor and evaluate conditions within the park. The decision to reopen these areas of Denali National Park and Preserve was made with the safety and enjoyment of visitors in mind.
